Today, Balinese celebrate their ceremony, its named Galungan. Balinese celebrate Galungan every 6 month. And all peoples here very enthusias for celebrate Galungan. One day before Galungan, they usually do activity such as “Ngelawar” or castrating Pork, and its called Penampahan day, this activity very unique.

Today, i go to Baha Village, a small village in north Badung Residence. That place very traditional, and i can feel Galungan ambience there. I show peoples there very friendly. It’s recommende too when you have trip to Bali.

Another new disease found in China; a fever, mouth sores and rashes with blister which caused by virus EV71. As mention in Quennsland Goverment site Enterovirus 71 (EV71) neurological disease is a rare but serious complication of infection with
Enterovirus 71, a virus which can also cause hand, foot and mouth disease. This cases are rare and mainly occur in children; the virus infected children under 2 years old. It usually starts with a slight fever followed by blisters or ulcers in the mouth and on the hands and feet. However, in a small number of children it may cause high fever, meningitis (inflammation of the lining of the brain), encephalitis (inflammation of the
brain itself), and paralysis. As a parents and especially as a tourism destination, this destructive effect should make us aware of this virus spreads among us.

Eventhough, The Health Minister of Indonesia “Siti Fadilah Supari” said that enterovirus 71 or EV71 currently spreading in China had not yet posed a serious threat to Indonesia. “I haven’t received any reports of EV-71 cases, so I assume there’s no such infection here,” she said. She added there were three patients currently being treated at the Cipto Mangunkusumo hospital for suspected infection of the virus. This article inspired by FRV (Fine Restaurant & Villa) Magazine. Every houses or rooms has doors. According to wikipedia, door is a panel or barrier, through the door we can get in to the house or room. In Bali, it could be more than just a panel or barrier. Balinese doors like a portal into another world. It’s inviting, enticing and enchanting. Rich with complex carvings, in a variety of shapes & sizes, often custom-made to fit the proportions of their owners.
Traditionally Balinese doors were crafted of nangka, the strong wood of the jack fruit tree, timber or teak. Each wood boats an attractive grain, but in the old days the timber was seldom left raw, instead it was painted in bright colors, lacquer, or gold leaf. A good quality of Balinese door is made of timber that has been air-dried for two and half years, to ensure that the leaf of the door does not shrink or warp.
