I just got call from my one of favorite interior photographer, his name ulung wicaksono.
we haven’t met along 6 months, and he has been international photographer right now.
His client are most of 5 star international chain hotels or villas in Asia and Hawaii, wow.
Last year, when i learned about basic photography from him, he taught me about how to use Aperture, shutter, etc with his Fuji S3PRO, he used to photo with nikon.And surprise, he use Canon 1Ds Mark II with L series lens now, his reason is
he has to move to Full Frame to take large size photo for his international client.
As we know, EOS-1Ds the Mark II has a full size 35 mm (36 x 24 mm) sensor which means it introduces no field-of-view crop, an 18 mm lens on this camera will provide exactly the same field-of-view as it would on a 35 mm film camera.
Well as Canon’s DSLR user too,i proud because my favorite photographer using the same
‘religion’ as me.This isn’t about brand war or brand promote,but this only
the expression of amateur when his favorite photographer using the same brand as his
camera body, and i wish i could have one next time

tenang de, kalo perlu 17-40L ato sigma 24-70 f2.8 kontak rage gen, ato perlu hunting bareng malu dipadang tawang ne :p let’s we explore our village hehehehehe

A few articles I read on the net advises use of medium or large format camera to get even larger picture with perfect sharpness. Sure you can get Mamiya with digital back like Phase One, or Hasselblad with dedicated digital back.
For those who does not have enough money to buy them, these article advise to use film back, then scan. To help photographer to get perfect lighting, instead of light meter they suggest to use digital camera instead. You can get this setup from as cheap as a brand new D300.
